Learn more about this event and sign up for 10am Early Entry  HERE  Age: 2 years Weight: 38lbs (as of 10/30/26) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Milo , a handsome 2-year-old Shepherd mix who is ready to find his ultimate adventure partner! With his striking good looks and intelligent, loyal eyes, Milo is the perfect blend of brains and athletic charm. At two years old, Milo is past the hectic puppy phase but still has plenty of youthful energy. True to his Shepherd heritage, he is eager to please, alert, and thrives when he has a job to do—whether that's joining you on a morning jog, learning cool new tricks, or mastering the perfect leash walk. He has a sharp mind that loves puzzle toys and consistent, positive training. When the outdoor fun is done, Milo is more than happy to settle down by your feet (or on your lap, if you let him!) for a serious cuddle session. Milo’s history with children and felines is currently unknown. Because shepherds can have a natural herding instinct, any introductions to kids or small animals should be done slowly, safely, and with supervision. He thrives on structure and would love a person or family ready to continue his basic training to help him be the best canine citizen he can be. If you are looking for a loyal, intelligent, and active companion to fill your days with love and adventure, Milo might just be your perfect match! An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see   HERE   for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website:   Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org)   **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
