Gooseberry

Description

Gooseberry is a handsome short-haired gentleman dressed in crisp white with striking black tabby markings, bright green eyes, and distinctive black “eyeliner” that gives him a perpetually polished look. Add in his adorable pink nose, and it's easy to see why he turns heads wherever he goes. Confident, easygoing, and endlessly friendly, Gooseberry takes life exactly as it comes. Other cats? No problem. Dogs? Fine by him. Kids? Bring them on. Gooseberry adapts to just about any situation with remarkable ease and greets everyone he meets like a gracious host welcoming guests to a party. Whether you're family, a visitor, or a complete stranger, don't be surprised if Gooseberry is the first one at the door to say hello. Gooseberry is a true people cat. Curious and social, he likes to know what his humans are up to and will happily shadow you from room to room as your loyal sidekick. He enjoys affection and companionship but isn't demanding, striking that wonderful balance between being loving and independent. And if treats are involved, you'll have his full attention. This food-motivated boy never misses a meal and is always happy to accept a snack or two. Gooseberry would love to find a home with his foster buddy, Little Dog, though he would also do well on his own if in a household that had plenty of time at home with him. He's wonderful with children of all ages and has the easy going temperament to fit into a variety of households. If you're looking for a friendly, adaptable companion who's equal parts welcoming committee, faithful sidekick, and charming best friend, Gooseberry just might be your perfect match. We estimate Gooseberry's birth date is May 15, 2025.
