Hi! My name is Rollo and I am looking for a forever home! I was picked up as a stray by animal control and taken to a scary place called a shelter where, after no one came to claim me, I was about to be put on something bad called “the list.” Fortunately for me, BCAA saw me and said they would help me… yeah! I appear to be a Standard Poodle mix— but whatever I am, my foster mom thinks I’m one handsome dude! I had to be shaved down when I first arrived because my coat was in quite a hot mess, but just wait until all that fluffy hair grows back and it's already started.I’m a little over 50 pounds and about 18 months old. I’m still very much a young, energetic guy and I love being out and about. My enthusiasm can be a little overwhelming for smaller dogs, so I would do best with a dog who enjoys my playful energy and can keep up with me. But when it’s just me and my people, I’m a total cuddle bug and absolutely love attention. I’ve shown some interest in cats, although I haven’t been aggressive toward them. I’m also crate trained and have done really well in my crate without accidents or destroying my bedding. That said, I’d much rather be hanging out with you and will definitely let you know if I hear or see you and think I’m missing out!I’m pretty good on leash, although I can pull a little when I get excited about all the fun happening around me. I’m a happy, affectionate boy with plenty of personality, and I’m ready to find a family who will give me the love, attention, exercise, and guidance I need to continue growing into the best version of myself.
