Tatiana

Description

Tatiana showed up as a stray on a rural Mower County property towards the end of October 2026, and she came to MCHS on 10/26/2026 after the finders held her for a few days. Efforts were made to see if anyone recognized her as the stray hold went on, and she was never owner claimed, so she became available for adoption. She looks to be a purebred black lab and we think she's 2 to 3 years old. She has the typical boisterous and exuberant personality of a lab. We will need to get her vet checked and spayed soon and her fee is $150. Tatiana will need some basic training and regular exercise. She's a pretty strong gal. Labs are a lot of fun and can be pretty rambunctious until they reach a more mature age (like 5, 6, 7, etc...). Tatiana is fun loving and happy. We do think she'd do okay with a male dog of similar size and with older kids.  NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
