Description

THE MASTADORS: When our rescue partner Washington Health Outreach sent a desperate please from a Washington property with 90+ dogs and several recent litters of Lab Mastiff mixes (aka Mastadors) we had to help. We have taken in 11 and counting. Animal Information: Meet May, an estimated 4.5 month old female Labrador Mastiff mix with gorgeous soulful eyes. She has no aggressive tendencies toward humans and has lived with a large number of other dogs. We will share more info after she decompresses and we get to know her in foster care. Foster Profile: Coming soon! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was surrendered surrendered to our rescue in collaboration with our partner WHO, arriving to foster care on 10/25/2026. She will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care. Foster Profile:  May is a very loving girl and just wants to jump up and give kisses.  We're working diligently on not jumping. She's very smart and seems to have potty training down and has not had an accident inside while I've had her.  That being said, I do have a doggie door so she can let herself out, but I'm confident she will learn quickly to ask to go out, especially if she as an older dog to show her the ropes.  She likes her crate, and will put herself in the crate to nap. I have it in my bedroom and she has not cried at night at all.  She sleeps 8 hours without incident. Leash training is a work in progress, but with continued training she will catch on fast.   Anyone interested in adopting a Mastadore should research the breed.  They are very affectionate dogs and tend to not realize how big they are so that's another thing to consider if there are small children in the family.  This little (NOT) girl has stolen my heart in just a few short days and will steal yours as well.  Adopter Profile: Large breed experience required Single Family Residence required Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian.
