Teddy is a sweet 8-month-old pup with a beautiful short-haired coat and a gentle heart. He's a mixed breed (likely lab/mountain feist) whose ears bend down and front leg points when he's curious and exploring outside.Teddy has experienced some trauma early in life, so building trust and connecting with people can take time for him. But underneath his uncertainty is a loving dog who is looking for someone patient, kind and willing to let him grow at his own pace. Teddy will be a wonderful companion for someone who understands that trust is earned one small step at a time, and he may benefit from having another older dog in the home with him. Teddy rarely ever barks (except for when bears come through the yard!), but is fully house-trained and loves staying cuddled on his mat or in his crate. With patience, consistency and a safe environment, he has the opportunity to blossom into a devoted friend and loving companion.  Teddy is waiting for someone who will see his potential, help him feel safe and loved, and welcome him home.Location: East Asheville, NC.  Contact:  Casey at 864.498.3961 or Casey.fbc@gmail.com.
