Twilight is a one year old female Beagle mixed with maybe some Cocker Spaniel. All 22 pounds of her is just fantastically adorable! The beagle part we are relatively sure we have correct - those ears, occasionally the lilt in her bark. Her tiny little dishy face brings up thoughts of spaniel as well as her unending desire to live in your pocket (or on your lap maybe)Twilight was found as a stray, so we don't have a lot of background information. She had siblings that were adopted out of the facility from which she came, but we snatched her up when they needed some breathing room because we think she could be the most perfect dog for some lucky family. Twi is 100% a sweetheart. All she wants is to be loved on. Well, and plenty of playtime! This girl LOVES her some toys! Any family that adopts her has to commit to a family room filled with toys - it's just how it has to be. She is social and happy, talkative when she needs or wants something, beagle joy with spaniel love.Since Twilight was a stray, we don't know much about her background. She seems to be dog friendly, though a meet and greet is required in all cases. Cats are an unknown and she may be the type that chases until she learns that it is ill advised. Dog savvy cats may indeed be well equipped to deal with such things without a problem. She would likely do well with kids as she tends towards being very gentle in general. Twilight will likely need a little help with house training but in all honestly, done correctly, it should be a breeze. She may be little but she is a grown up as such has a longer attention span and more ability to control herself and her potty habits. This is also true of obedience training - she is old enough now to actually be able to have longer training sessions and better ability to retain that which she is taught! Perfect! Twilight is an active happy girl - she will have the best time running and playing and an even better time curling up with you at the end of the day. Don't let this one get away - if a family dog is what you want, this girl may just fit the bill. Twilight is available for adoption.
