Description
Meow meet Charlie! Just look into those beautiful puppy dog eyes, and it’s hard not to have your heart melt. Charlie is a handsome brown and white tabby who recently lost the people he knew as family when his owners passed away. Through no fault of his own, the people and home he loved were suddenly gone, leaving him to make sense of a world that changed overnight. He came to the rescue alongside his feline friend, Max. Although they shared a home, they aren’t necessarily bonded, and each is hoping to find a new family either together or on their own. Charlie is a gentle, calm boy who still has so much love to give. He enjoys being petted, can be picked up, and has a soft spot for cat nip toys. He’s happiest with the simple comforts of a peaceful home and someone to share his days with. He may do well with another cat, but after all this change, introductions would need to be slow and thoughtful. Older respectful children or a senior looking for a loving companion could be wonderful fits. Somewhere along the way, Charlie lost the people who were supposed to be there for a lifetime. He can’t understand why they’re gone or why he’s no longer waking up in the home he knew. He’s grieving. What he needs now is someone to give him a soft place to land, a familiar voice to listen for, and the comfort of knowing he’s not going to be left behind again. We hope Charlie’s next goodbye is only to the rescue, and his next hello is to the family who will love him for the rest of his days!
