Meet Truman! Truman is an adorable kitty who is equal parts sweetheart, adventurer and goofy young cat! Truman is a lover who enjoys attention, petting and being picked up, and he's never met a stranger. The first time he met one of his family's friends, Truman climbed straight into his lap and started purring! He's sometimes a lap cat, likes to lick hands and feet, and has the cutest little squeaky meow.When Truman's play switch flips he gets the zoomies and can turn into a rough-and-tumble wrestler. Unfortunately, his 14-year-old feline housemate isn't nearly as enthusiastic about Truman's wrestling matches as he is, which is why Truman now needs a new home. Some of his rough play was encouraged when he was younger by someone who played with him using their hands, so Truman will need plenty of appropriate outlets for that young-cat energy and people who will keep the wrestling focused on toys rather than hands.Truman has lived with another cat and they often get along and even sleep together, but his play style can be too much for an older or quieter kitty. He may do well with a confident, playful cat who appreciates an energetic playmate, or he could be perfectly happy as your one and only. Dogs, however, are frightening to Truman, so he's looking for a dog-free home.Truman has also enjoyed harness-and-leash walks and loves climbing around his catio. A tall cat tree, plenty of playtime and opportunities to enjoy the outdoors more safely through a secure catio or harness adventures would be right up his alley.
