She survived life outside, raised a litter of gorgeous Russian Blue mix babies, and finally found what she thought was her happily-ever-after with a loving adopter. But heartbreak struck again when her beloved human was diagnosed with terminal cancer and, through no fault of either of them, Champaign had to come back to us. Now this quiet, shy girl is waiting for someone to give her the one thing she's been missing: a forever home that really means forever. Champaign may not run up to greet you or demand attention right away, but give her patience, gentleness, and time, and you'll have the privilege of watching her blossom. She doesn't need a perfect home or a perfect leg. She just needs someone who will see the beautiful soul behind those cautious eyes and give her the chance to feel safe enough to love again.
