AVALANCHE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:   Avalanche         Best Guess for Breed:  Carolina Dog and lab mix Best Guess for Age:  11 months as of April 2026      SEX: Female   Approximate Weight:   38 lbs as of 4/22/26; might have just a tiny bit more to grow   Gets Along With:  Avalanche does well with other dogs and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog. We haven't seen her with kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Right now, she's timid. She needs extra patient and loving adopters to show her new environments at her pace, and a friendly resident dog who will show her how to dog! Avalanche is gonna be a great, loving, amazing addition to a household that is ready to give her all the socialization and love she needs. In exchange her humans will get so many adoring gazes, so much loyal companionship. What do you say? She walked well on a leash. She didn't have accidents in the home. She initially wasn't sure about her crate but a treat helped her like it and she slept well in it overnight. All that was just the first night after she arrived. She will continue to blossom and make a wonderful addition to a lucky family."
