Charles

Description

Meet Charles!   Charles has been through it and absolutely deserves better. He's about 5-year-old and came into the shelter weighing just 27 pounds! He was neglected, malnourished and very underweight, but despite everything he has been through, Charles is one of the sweetest boys you could ever meet. For Charles, the shelter may actually be the best home he has ever known. He is so sweet, gentle, and loving, and he has quickly stolen the hearts of the volunteers. We are working hard to help Charles gain weight and get stronger. He is getting several small meals throughout the day, and with good food, love, and care, we know this boy will be feeling like a whole new dog in no time! On top of it all, Charles has been through heartworm treatment. He is now ready to find his furever home where he can be a cherished pup. Charles has been through enough. What he needs now is a safe place, a soft bed, a full belly, and someone who will show him what it means to be truly loved. He is the best boy, and he deserves a much better life.
