Meet Max! Max is a 3-year-old, 12-pound Terrier mix with a big personality and an even bigger love for snuggles! He enjoys playing fetch, lounging with his favorite humans, and doing the cutest little booty bounce when he's excited. He's friendly with new people, rides well in the car, knows how to sit, and is eager to learn.Max is still working on his house training and manners. He can be vocal in his crate, pulls on leash, and needs help learning not to dash out the door. He's made progress with his mouthiness but will need a patient adopter committed to continuing his training.Max can be territorial when first meeting other dogs but tends to settle with time and proper introductions. He mostly ignores cats, though supervision is important. He's done well with a 7-year-old child, but a home without younger children is recommended.Max would love an active home with regular walks or a fenced yard, plenty of cuddles, and someone willing to help him become the best little companion he can be. He has lots of love to give—and those adorable booty wiggles are just a bonus! ❤️Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200.
