LEAF*

Description

Meet Leaf, the handsomest, 1 year old orange and white kitty you ever did see. Leaf is waiting to spend his autumn in a home where he can snuggle up to his person and watch the leaves turn to match his orange coat. Leaf was a stray cat, so we don’t know if he has ever had an experience in a home. However, here at the shelter he has been the sweetest boy! With just a tad of coaxing, he will head butt and roll around on his back to show you how eager he is for attention. If you are looking for a sweet adolescent cat to take home with you this fall, come meet Leaf!Leaf is available for preadoption - come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery! On Saturday, October 31st, the Shelter is celebrating Halloween through an “Adopt Your Boo” special. This cat’s adoption fee is reduced to $31.Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
