Name:   Crue        Best Guess for Breed:   Poodle and Pointer mix Best Guess for Age:   5 years as of Oct. 2026        SEX:    Male   Approximate Weight:   47.5 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   South Carolina shelter - Crue needs a foster or adopter to make his way to the DC area   Crue is Looking For:    Looking for a companion with charm, brains, and a coat you’ll want to run your fingers through? Say hello to Crue, a handsome 5-year-old poodle/pointer mix with gorgeous curly brown fur and a heart to match.   From the moment he arrived, shelter staff noticed something special: Crue is very friendly and well mannered. He greets people warmly, carries himself like a gentleman, and seems to already understand how to be a good companion. At five, he’s past the chaotic puppy stage but still has plenty of years of adventures, walks, and cuddles ahead of him.   Crue brings together the best of two great breeds. Poodles are known for their intelligence and eagerness to learn, and pointers for their loyalty and love of time outdoors. Put them together and you get a smart, affectionate dog who’d love to explore the world with you and then settle in beside you at the end of the day.   What My Foster Says About Me:   Coming soon! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
