LEMON NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:   Lemon         Best Guess for Breed:  Lab mix, some other type of retriever likely  Best Guess for Age:   2 years as of April 2026         SEX:    Female   Approximate Weight: 58 lbs as of 4/15/26; might be a bit underweight at this weight   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   DC area foster home   Lemon is Looking For:    Her forever home! She did an amazing job raising her eight babies Lime, Longan, Lupsi, Lulo, Lychee, Lakoocha, Lucuma, and Loquat to be great family pets. They're all off to seek their own humans and now Lemon is seeking her own humans to love and be loved by. She's in her prime as a young adult dog and is eager for long sniffy walks, romps, and all those wonderful adventures. Most of all, though, she wants to know she's safe and loved, where she belongs. In exchange she promises loyal companionship for all her days.   What do you say?
