Fresca is a beautiful 1-year-old, 45-pound Belgian Malinois who is ready to find her forever family! This energetic girl has a wonderful personality, gets along great with other dogs, and would absolutely love a playful canine sibling to help keep her busy. She can be a little too enthusiastic for smaller dogs, so a medium-to-large playmate who enjoys an active play style would be ideal! Fresca does well with children, too, although her enthusiasm and energy may be a bit overwhelming for little ones under 5. She has a nice working drive that makes her eager to learn and a pleasure to train, but she isn't quite intense enough for a working Malinois lifestyle. She's the perfect fit for someone who wants a smart, trainable companion without needing a full-time working dog! The good news? Fresca is already housebroken and crate trained, giving her new family a great head start! Fresca is looking for an active family ready to include her in their adventures, continue her training, and give her plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and burn off that youthful energy. A fun-loving doggy sibling would be the cherry on top! If you're looking for a smart, energetic, affectionate companion who is ready to be your next adventure buddy, Fresca might just be your girl! ❤️ Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Her adoption fee is $300. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org. Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references. Our adoption events are held each Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232.  Event hours are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Additional questions may be directed to sagdinfo@gmail.com. ** This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX.
