Meet your new adventure buddy Lucky! This 2-year-old Schnauzer mix has had a rough start, but he is officially ready to turn the page and find his forever family. Found completely abandoned and left alone by the lake, he hasn't let his past dampen his bright, resilient spirit. He is the perfect balance of fun-loving energy and excellent manners. Here is what makes him so special: Ultimate travel partner: He is incredibly good in the car and always ready for a road trip. Outdoor enthusiast: True to his heritage, he absolutely loves to go on hikes and navigate the trails. Playful companion: He has a great time playing and will keep you smiling with his happy antics. Home Requirements: Kids & Cats: Unknown. Because his history with children and felines is a mystery, slow and supervised introductions are highly recommended to ensure everyone gets along safely. Lifestyle: Ideal for an active individual or family looking for a loyal companion to share in outdoor activities and weekend getaways. If you are looking for a brave little survivor who is ready to fill your life with play, hikes, and loyal companionship, this sweet boy is waiting for you!   An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see   HERE   for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website:   Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org)   **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
