Name: Dootie   Best Guess for Breed: Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix Best Guess for Age: 3 years old as of October 2026   SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 17.4 lbs as of 10/23/26 Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids, but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: Shelter. DOOTIE NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME! Dootie is Looking For: His forever family! This happy, bouncy boy is ready to spring into the good life with humans of his very own. He would love plenty of sniffy walks, opportunities to explore his new neighborhood and lots of playtime and enrichment to keep his days fun and interesting. Dootie gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy making canine friends along the way. He is eager to discover all the wonderful things that come with being a treasured family dog—quality kibble, engaging toys, a soft bed and plenty of affection from his favorite people. He would also love to attend dog school so he can bond with his humans and show them what a clever boy he can be. Most of all, Dootie is looking for a loving home where his cheerful spirit will be celebrated and he will be included as a true member of the family.
