Looking for a sweet little companion who will fill your life with love, kisses, and adorable zoomies? Meet Zoe! This precious Shih Tzu girl is ready to find her special person and a loving home to call her own. ❤️ A Relaxed Girl With a Playful Side Zoe is a calm, relaxed girl indoors, but let her out into a fenced yard and watch her go! She absolutely loves running through the grass and showing off her happy little zoomies. Walks are another favorite, and she is wonderful on leash. She even knows how to use a doggie door! Once You're Her Person, You're Her Person! Zoe can be shy at first, especially around men, visitors, and unfamiliar surroundings. She needs a little time, patience, and a gentle approach to feel comfortable. But once she trusts you, her loving personality shines! She'll happily jump into your lap, shower you with kisses, and become your devoted little shadow. The Little Things Make Her Happy Zoe loves small, soft toys she can shake and chew, yummy soft treats, and having her own cozy bed with a basket of toys nearby. She's a good eater and can share her space with other dogs when they respect her boundaries. She gets along with dogs, but her experience with cats is unknown. A Good Girl With Great Habits Zoe sleeps quietly through the night when comfortably contained and has excellent potty habits! She knows how to use a doggie door to access a fenced yard and routinely goes outside after meals without accidents indoors. She's a wonderful walking companion and enjoys being out and about with her person. Zoe's Dream Home Zoe would thrive in a patient, loving home where she can settle in at her own pace. A securely fenced yard for her joyful zoomies, daily walks, cozy resting spots, and plenty of affection would make her one happy girl! She would do best with people who understand that trust takes time, especially around men and unfamiliar visitors. Her experience with children is unknown, so a thoughtful, appropriate introduction would be important. Could Zoe Be Your Special Someone? Zoe is a very sweet little girl with so much love to give. Give her a little patience, a safe place to land, and a chance to know you, and you may just find yourself with the most devoted little cuddlebug by your side. She’s ready for walks, playtime, cozy naps, and a lifetime of kisses with the person lucky enough to call her family. Could you be the one Zoe has been waiting for? Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe.
