TOBY

Description

Meet Toby, a 4-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel looking for a loving place to call home! Toby came to Macomb County Animal Control after his previous owner became ill and could no longer care for him.True to his breed, Toby is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves being close to his people. He’s happiest when he can be by your side, soaking up all the love and attention you have to give. Toby arrived at the shelter severely matted and in desperate need of grooming. His experience is a good reminder that Cavaliers require regular brushing and professional grooming to keep their beautiful coats healthy and comfortable. His future family should be prepared to make grooming a regular part of his care.As Toby settles into his new life, he’ll need a little time, patience, and understanding to adjust to his new home and surroundings. We recommend a home with children ages 5 and up. We also don’t know if Toby has previously lived with other dogs or cats, so slow, proper introductions will be important if there are other pets in the home.If you’re looking for a loving little companion who wants nothing more than to be close to his favorite people, Toby could be the perfect match for you! Could you be the one to give this sweet boy the fresh start he deserves? If you are interested in meeting Toby or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, they are open M-F from 10am-4pm.Adoption fee: $350
