Description

Moriarty — A Little Cautious, a Lot of Fun & Definitely Needs a Partner in Crime! Every good detective story needs a Moriarty! Moriarty found himself at animal control while still a young kitten. He needed a safe place to land, but he also needed something just as important—friends! So when Moriarty came to Heartland, he joined our little detective crew, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. And just like that, our detective duo became a trio! Now Moriarty is ready to solve the biggest mystery of all—where is his forever family? What's Up with That Ear?You might notice that Moriarty's right ear is tipped.Normally, an ear tip is used to identify a community cat who has been spayed or neutered. But in Moriarty's case, we honestly don't know why his ear was tipped. From what we can tell, it looks like someone may have decided to practice tipping an ear on this poor little guy. We don't know exactly what happened, but we do know Moriarty didn't deserve it.Thankfully, that little ear doesn't stop him from being the sweet, playful kitten he is today. About Moriarty Friendly and affectionate A little cautious at first Loves pets and attention Loves toys and playtime Enjoys all the usual kitten shenanigans Does well with other cats Does NOT like being alone Should do well with respectful childrenMoriarty is a friendly little guy, although he can be a bit cautious when something is new. Give him a chance to figure things out, and you'll discover a playful, affectionate kitten who loves attention. Toys? Yes, please!Pets? Absolutely!Someone to play with? Even better!Moriarty loves all those wonderful kitten activities—chasing toys, exploring, playing, and generally finding ways to keep himself entertained. But there's one thing Moriarty isn't particularly fond of...Being alone. A Kitty Friend Is an Absolute Must!Moriarty needs another friendly cat or kitten in his forever home. This is a 100% requirement for him.He enjoys the company of other cats and really needs that feline companionship to be happy and comfortable. He can be adopted with one of his detective buddies, Sherlock Holmes or Dr. Watson, or he can join a home that already has a friendly cat or kitten. What matters most is that Moriarty has a buddy to play with, spend time with, and keep him company. The Perfect HomeMoriarty would love a family who appreciates a playful, affectionate kitten and understands that he may need a little time to settle into new surroundings. A friendly feline companion is absolutely required Does well with other cats Should do well with respectful children Hasn't been around dogs, but would most likely do fine with a cat-friendly dog and a proper introduction Plenty of toys, pets, attention, and opportunities to playMoriarty may have started out at animal control with a mysterious ear tip and an uncertain future, but he's not letting any of that get in the way of enjoying life. He's got friends, toys, people who love him, and a whole lot of kitten adventures ahead. Now he just needs a forever family and a feline partner in crime to share them with.Because while Sherlock Holmes may be famous for solving mysteries, Moriarty has already figured out one very important thing—life is better with a buddy!
