I was surrendered to the shelter when my owner could no longer care for me. I am a sweet boy and I'm treat motivated. I tested positive for heartworms, and OCAS is treating me. Heartworm disease may cause severe lung disease, heart failure, or other organ damage in dogs. It's usually fatal if left untreated. Heartworm treatment is costly.
