Boo 2026

Description

Lovely long-haired beauty BOO is a gentle girl looking for a new home to call her own. She's about 5 years old and currently 11 pounds. Boo was adopted from SDHR as a kitten back in 2022 and recently returned. Changes in her home over time, including the arrival of a new baby and the loss of her canine companions proved too stressful for Boo so we agreed to take her back and find her a home environment where she can thrive. She needs a quiet adult-only home. She lived with 2 dogs who were her dear companions and their passing broke her heart. Boo is ideally suited to a home where she will have a friendly canine or feline companion. She needs a patient adopter who will help her settle in to her new life. Boo's long lovely locks will require regular brushing to keep her looking and feeling fabulous. If you'd like to adopt beautiful Boo, please fill out a cat adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Boo at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate.  Our cats are fully vetted and we require indoor-only homes. All other cats and dogs in the home must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on all vaccines. We will not send cats to home where they will be declawed as it is a harmful practice that can cause lifelong physical and behavioral problems. Our cats are all spayed/neutered, vaccinated, combo tested, dewormed, and microchipped.
