Rubis nous a été confié récemment, car sa personne ne pouvait malheureusement plus s’occuper de lui. Ce jeune minou d’un peu plus d’un an, qui ne demandait qu’à recevoir de l’amour est arrivé chez nous un peu confus et désorienté. Le séjour en cage n’était vraiment pas à son goût, même si c’était pour son bien! Maintenant qu’il peut se promener librement dans la salle, on découvre un chat extrêmement affectueux avec les humains. Rubis adore notre présence et recherche volontiers les interactions. C’est aussi un garçon très actif qui aime jouer et dépenser son énergie. Pour ce qui est de partager son espace, disons qu’il est un peu plus sélectif! Il semble d’ailleurs mieux apprécier la compagnie des autres mâles. Malheureusement, la vie au refuge n’est pas idéale pour lui. Devoir partager sa salle avec une dizaine d’autres chats, qui ne sont pas toujours sur la même longueur d’onde que lui, l’empêche de s’épanouir pleinement. Rubis rêve d’un royaume où il pourra être le roi des félins!  Il pourrait très bien s’épanouir dans une maison où il serait le seul chat et où il pourrait profiter pleinement de l’attention de sa famille. Une famille avec des enfants pourrait également lui convenir, à condition que ceux-ci soient assez grands pour comprendre et respecter les limites d’un chat. Rubis est un garçon expressif qui sait très bien faire comprendre lorsqu’il a besoin de tranquillité. Et que dire de son look? Avec son magnifique pelage noir délavé, et son allure de rockeur, se cache un grand amoureux des humains qui ne demande qu’à trouver sa famille pour la vie.  Rubis est un chat adulte, dont les frais d'adoption sont de 310$. Il est stérilisé, vacciné, micropucé et négatif pour le virus de l'immunodéficience féline (VIF) ainsi que la leucose féline (FeLV). Des assurances santé de 6 semaines viennent avec son adoption. This young kitty, just over a year old, who wanted nothing more than love and affection, arrived with us feeling a little confused and disoriented. Being in a cage was definitely not his cup of tea, even though it was for his own good! Now that he can roam freely around the room, we’re discovering an extremely affectionate cat who absolutely adores humans. Rubis loves having people around and is always happy to interact with them. He’s also a very active boy who loves to play and burn off energy. When it comes to sharing his space, though, let’s just say he’s a little more selective! He seems to get along better with other male cats. Unfortunately, shelter life isn’t ideal for him. Having to share his room with about ten other cats, who aren’t always on the same wavelength as him, makes it difficult for Rubis to truly thrive. Rubis dreams of a world where he can be the king of the kingdom. He could do wonderfully in a home where he’s the only cat and can enjoy all the love and attention his family has to offer. A family with children could also be a good fit, as long as the kids are old enough to understand and respect a cat’s boundaries. Rubis is an expressive boy who knows how to let you know when he needs some peace and quiet. And what about his looks? With his gorgeous faded black coat and rocker vibe, Rubis may look like a little rebel, but underneath it all is a big softie who adores humans and is simply waiting to find a family to call his own.  Rubis is an adult cat, therefore the adoption fee is $310$. He is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FeLV). Six weeks of pet insurance are included with the adoption.
