*BIRCH

Description

Birch (A143842) is an 8-month-old Chinchilla who weighed 1 pound on intake!10/22/26 This handsome guy is Birch! Birch arrived at the shelter as a stray and is now looking for his new place to call home! If you are unfamiliar with chinchillas and their care requirements, we encourage you to do the research before adopting. Providing him with a multilevel enclosure where he can explore is important. He should have unlimited access to hay as well as a measured amount of pellet food daily. It is also important that he be provided a dust bath for their coat health and their mental health! Chinchillas like chewing so providing them with appropriate chews is very appreciated. If you are interested in meeting Birch, please let us know!
