MARY JANE

Description

Mary Jane (MJ) (A136987) is a 2-year-old Beagle mix that weighed 28.2lbs on intake!10/22/26 This wonderful hound is Mary Jane (MJ) previously known as Copper! MJ was surrendered to the shelter because her owner was moving out of state and could not bring her with. She was described as an outgoing, friendly, and affectionate pup! She does not have experience with children, but was said to do well with strangers and adults. She was also said to do well with other dogs but has no experience with cats or pocket pets. MJ was said to be housebroken and to know the command sit! She was known to have a mischievous side and her nose might get her into trouble. MJ is also quite chunky and would benefit from shedding a few pounds. If you are interested in meeting MJ, please let us know! 12/26/24 This sweet little girl is Copper! Copper was surrendered to the shelter due to the previous owner being unable to care for her. Copper was said to be friendly with children of all ages and loves meeting new people! Copper was also said to be friendly with other animals, however, we would like to remind adopters to be performing those introductions in a slow, safe and controlled manner for the best outcome. Copper had been working on potty training and also started learning `Sit`, `Stay` and `Lay down` in her previous home. Copper will need continued help with potty training, kennel training and learning her basic commands in her new home. Puppies are a lot of work but worth the reward if you have the time and energy to devote to them! If you are ready for a new addition to the family and are considering Copper, please let us know!
