Mochi

Description

Meet Mochi! This approximately 2-year-old, 50-pound sweetheart may be just the guy you’ve been looking for if you love Basset Hounds! With his short, sturdy build and possible Lab mix heritage, Mochi is a unique combination of adorable looks and a sweet personality. If you’ve ever wanted a Basset Hound mix, this might be your guy!Mochi was very overwhelmed and shaking at the shelter, but now that he’s settling into rescue, we’re getting to know the lovable dog underneath all that stress. He loves being petted, walks pretty nicely on a leash, and is very quiet in his crate. He may even know how to sit, as he was trying his best to sit and pose for his pictures! He’s also done great meeting one of our resident dogs so far. Mochi is still fairly new to rescue, so we’re continuing to learn more about him as he gets comfortable and his personality starts to shine. This short-legged, big-hearted boy deserves a chance to feel safe, loved, and at home. If you’re looking for a sweet companion with some Basset Hound charm and possibly a little Lab mixed in, Mochi might be your perfect match! If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application.
