-She’s a sweet girl who is still learning how to feel comfortable and settle in. Outside, she did some exploring and came over when called for treats, which she takes nicely. She knows sit and down! She can get easily excited and a little nervous, sometimes responding to pets, sudden movements, or unfamiliar sounds with bursts of zoomies. With time and patience, she began to relax and enjoy affection without getting so worked up. She even came over to half-lie in my lap and show me her belly. -She was a little more nervous inside and stayed close to me when someone new entered the room, but she allowed him to offer pets and treats. She also showed a little interest in playing with a tennis ball. She pulls a bit on walks.-This girl is trying her best, but she’s still carrying a lot of stress and will need time to decompress and feel safe in a new home. She’ll do best with a patient, confident adopter who can help her build trust and learn to navigate the world at her own pace. She can get pretty bouncy when excited, so a home without small children would be best. SHE'S NOT A FIT FOR EVERY ADOPTER, but with the right person willing to give her time and guidance, she has the potential to blossom.
