He is an absolutely gorgeous, fluffy little grey-and-white kitten with big, soulful green eyes, adorable tufted ears, and the sweetest pink nose you’ve ever seen. We have had the absolute pleasure of fostering this little guy for over two weeks, and we are completely in love—and we know you will be too!Here’s why Smokey is the kitten of your dreams:•The King of Cuddles: Smokey’s absolute favorite thing in the world is cuddling. He can’t get enough of it! He is a non-stop purr machine who will gladly curl up and sleep on anyone who will let him. If you’re looking for a lap warmer, he’s your guy.•A Social Butterfly: Smokey loves everyone! He has been super friendly with all of our visitors and got along wonderfully with our resident adult cat. He’s ready to fit right into your household.•Playful & Fun: He has that classic, joyful kitten energy! He loves to run around and play chase. Unlike some kitties, he’s not much of a climber, preferring to keep his high-speed fun closer to the ground.•Perfect House Manners: Smokey is an A+ houseguest. He used his litter box without fail the entire time he was with us. He’s also a very polite communicator—he only meows when he's shut out of a room because he just wants to be wherever the people are!Smokey is the perfect companion—playful, social, and incredibly loving. He’s ready to find his forever family and shower them with purrs and cuddles.We are looking for a safe, indoor only home for Smokey to stay safe and thrive in. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
