Description
Ziggy was found on the streets unable to put any weight on his right back leg. Silicon Valley animal shelter took him in, but needed a rescue to pull him so he could get 4 weeks of cage rest to let the fracture heal on its own. He has been a wonderful patient. He tolerated the cage rest well and is now able to walk about his room without a limp at all. He has not jumped yet- but his leg is getting stronger every day. He is a lap cat when you set him on you- content to just hang out with you. He is playful and loves to carry around little stuffed animals!from his foster family-- Ziggy is shy, but so so sweet. He warms slowly, but once he does, he loves to be pet and played with! (you can tell because he starts rumbling like a motorcycle). Ziggy loves batting at his toy mouse on a string, and sprawling out on blankets. He’s incredibly easy to handle when picked up, and is so so so soft when you do, you’ll never want to put him down! We found that Ziggy tends to not come out on his own, and needs to be greeted before he comes out for the day. He becomes more active when played with and socialized with.
