SALEM

Description

Meet Salem, a stunning black-and-white Siberian Husky with ice-blue eyes that could melt your heart and a coat so soft and fluffy you’ll be tempted to make cuddle time your new favorite hobby! At approximately 4–5 years old, Salem has settled into a calmer pace of life, but don’t let that fool you—this beautiful girl still enjoys a good game of fetch and will happily chase after a tennis ball when the mood strikes. Salem has done well with her canine friends here at Macomb County Animal Control, but she prefers the company of more laid-back dogs rather than those who come bounding up to the gate with all their excitement on full display. Cats are not recommended for Salem’s new home, and we are looking for a young, active family who understands that even a calmer Husky needs regular exercise, mental stimulation, and plenty of attention to keep her happy and healthy. Husky experience is highly preferred to help ensure Salem finds a family who understands her breed and is ready to meet her needs. Salem is up-to-date on all vaccines and preventative care and is available for foster-to-adopt until after her scheduled spay appointment. For just $100, you could welcome this gorgeous girl into your life and give her the loving home she deserves. Come meet Salem at Macomb County Animal Control today and make this Halloween season extra special by inviting her into your home just in time for tricks, treats, and a whole lot of fluffy love!
