Description
Introducing Tilly, (who is in a short term foster in SC). Though no fault of her own has found herself back in rescue….. This gorgeous and very elegant middle aged pup, who’s just about to turn 10 this in December is looking for her very own forever home or a longer term foster to adapt. Tilly is a very laid back kinda girl who is more than happy to just chill out with her person inside enjoying belly rubs with her toys. But don’t let that fall you, she is also a sassy old duck as well, she is still full of life and ready to take on any adventure that her person wants to do. Car rides are the best because there is going to be something fun to do at the end. Tilly has yet to meet a stranger she doesn’t like, she absolutely loves meeting people soliciting affection and loving. Her next favorite thing is playing tug and fetch which she does with great enthusiasm. Tilly previously lived with a slightly smaller male dog who was 13 years old, she did do fine with him but she can be a “Dominant Female”. Her current foster also has dogs and she is doing fine with them but Tilly absolutely will not take any shit from another dog. If another dog barks, has no manners, try’s to get in her face she will want to correct them and if they don’t respond she will take it further. In saying that her foster has said she will respond to correction when asked to stop BUT she knows the foster is the boss if she thinks she can walk all over you she will and she will do it wearing 6 inch heals just to get her point across…….. If you are interested in Tilly and have a dog appropriate and slow introductions are to be made, if not she will get snappy and put her high heals on. Tilly is spayed, Heartworm negative and up to date on vaccinations. She has been crate trained to a point……but would prefer to be left in a room watching TV (she is not destructive), house trained, has basic obedience and walks great on leash with little correction. As a side note even though she is crate trained she absolutely HATES it with a passion to the point where she will either try to eat her way out, channel Houdini and pick the locks or kick off her heals hitch up her skirt and tap into Sir Edmond Hillary to climb out. So if you are looking for your next sole mate look no further, Tilly will win your heart with her affection, kisses, cuddles and goofy sassy nature. Please go to our website and fill out an application to either foster or adopt.
