Meet Princess! Tiny but mighty, Princess is a 5-year-old, 6-pound long-haired Chihuahua mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart! This adorable little lady is as sweet as she is sassy, and she's ready to find a forever home where she can be treated like the royalty she is. Princess is an affectionate little lovebug who adores being close to her people. Her favorite place is curled up on a warm lap, but she's also comfortable relaxing in her crate when needed. At bedtime, she'd love nothing more than to snuggle under the covers with her favorite human, burrowing in to stay cozy and warm. She's friendly with both men and women, rides well in the car, and makes a wonderful little companion. Don't let her petite size fool you! Princess has plenty of personality and isn't afraid to stand her ground. She can be quite territorial around other dogs, so she will need to be the only dog in the household, where she can soak up all the love and attention without having to share her kingdom. Her experience with children is still unknown. Princess also has a playful, silly side! One of her most entertaining talents is chasing her own tail, actually catching it, and spinning around in circles. She's guaranteed to bring plenty of smiles and laughter to her new family. Like many dogs adjusting to a new environment, Princess is still learning that she's safe and secure. She can become anxious and vocal when left alone, so she'd do best with someone who can offer patience, reassurance, and a consistent routine. She prefers going potty outside and is continuing to work on her house-training skills in her foster home. With time, consistency, and lots of love, we hope she'll continue to gain confidence.
