Name:   MAPLE          Best Guess for Breed:   LAB/SHEP MIX Best Guess for Age:   4 years as of Oct. 2026         SEX:    female   Approximate Weight:   36 lbs--she needs to gain weight!   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   SC SHELTER. Maple needs a foster or forever home to come to the DC area!   MAPLE is Looking For:   Hi I am Maple. Shelter staff says I am as sweet as maple syrup. Sounds yummy. I just finished raising my very cute puppies Moo, McRoy, Marmalade, Meep, and Mallory. After pouring all my energy into raising a healthy litter of pups, I am ready for my own loving forever home! I have some good manners already and am eager to please-I would love to learn more! Good rest, TLC, adventures together, doggie friends, giving you all the love and tail wags…I am so looking forward to it! Bonus for the lovely family who adopts me: my expressive black and tan coat and soulful eyes. Oh I will need good food too. Being a mama in a shelter is hard work and I need to gain weight.
