Description

LIL GIRL NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Lil Girl          Best Guess for Breed:  Mini Doxie mix  Best Guess for Age:  8 years as of Oct. 2026          SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight:  9.7lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter---needs DC area foster or forever home   Special adoption considerations: In certain home settings -- where the environment might be loud or more intense -- this dog would do better with another dog in the home to give her confidence.   Lil Girl is Looking For: Hiya! I'm Lil Girl! I was rescued from a house that was filled to the brim with other dogs, so I can't wait to find a home with a bit more space to relax and be loved. I'm still figuring out how this world works, but I've heard through the doggie grapevine that walks and belly rubs are great, so I'd like some of those! I'd also like to have plenty of opportunities to play with other dogs, because they make me feel safe and more comfortable. Are you willing to give me a fresh start? What My Foster Says About Me: Coming soon!
