Description

PINKY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Pinky   Best Guess for Breed: Mini poodle mixBest Guess for Age: 3 years old as of October 2026   SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 15.2 lbs as of October 2026 Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids, but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: Shelter. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Special adoption considerations: In certain home settings -- where the environment might be loud or more intense -- Pinky would do better with another dog in the home to give her confidence. Pinky is Looking For: A family willing to make her a very special pinky promise: that they will love her, keep her safe and give her all the time she needs to feel at home! She is looking for patient, gentle humans who will introduce her to new people, places and experiences at her own pace. With plenty of reassurance and little confidence-building victories along the way, she can begin to learn that the world is a safe and happy place. Pinky would love a predictable routine, leisurely sniffy walks, yummy treats and a soft bed where she can relax near her favorite people. She gets along well with other dogs, and in a busier home or neighborhood, a welcoming canine companion could help her feel more secure and show her the ropes. Pinky’s coat will also need consistent care. Her family must be prepared to do consistent grooming to keep her coat comfortable, healthy and free from painful mats. Most of all, Pinky wants a family who will see the sweetness beneath her uncertainty and give her the patience and love she deserves. What do you say? Can you make Pinky a promise that she will always have a place in your home and your heart? What My Foster Says About Me: Coming soon!
