Name:   Ohana        Best Guess for Breed:   Mini poodle/doxie mix  Best Guess for Age:   7 years old as of October 2026          SEX:    Female   Approximate Weight:   11 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   Shelter. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED!   Special adoption considerations:    In certain home settings -- where the environment might be loud or more intense -- Ohana would do better with another dog in the home to give her confidence.     Ohana is Looking For: A family to call her own! And with a name like Ohana, it seems only fitting that this sweet girl is searching for the people who will show her what being part of a loving family is all about.   Ohana can come off a little scared right now, and may need some time to observe her new surroundings and learn that she is finally safe. She is looking for patient, gentle humans who will let her settle in at her own pace, help her build confidence and celebrate each little step forward.   She would love a predictable routine, leisurely sniffy walks, yummy treats and a soft bed where she can relax near her favorite people. She gets along well with other dogs, and a welcoming canine companion will help her feel more secure and show her how things work in her new home.   Most of all, Ohana needs people who will see the sweetness beneath her uncertainty and give her the time and reassurance she needs to blossom. In exchange, she promises to bring an extra dose of sweetness to the family lucky enough to call her their own. What do you say?
