SIMON

Description

#A5521664 Say hello to Simon , a 4-year-old Labrador/Shepherd mix and one seriously handsome boy, with a soft creamy coat dusted in faint auburn freckles like someone sprinkled him with cinnamon! Add in his soulful eyes and perfectly curled cinnamon-roll tail, and you’ve got one irresistible package! Simon strikes a wonderful balance between his breeds: he’s a loyal little shadow who loves sticking close to his people, paired with the whip-smart brain and drive of a Border Collie, making him a fantastic candidate for advanced training where you can learn, work, and grow together. ❤️ He prefers people over other dogs, but he’s been curious and appropriate when meeting pups through the fence, so he may do well with a canine sibling given slow, thoughtful introductions. An all-around wonderful boy with brains, loyalty, and plenty of potential, Simon is a hidden gem at the shelter just waiting for someone to discover him - could that someone be you? - 4 year old white and orange Labrador/Shepherd mix - 75 pound neutered male - may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before he can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this! - came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 10/7/26 as an internal transfer from another shelter - we’re hoping Simon is now in the right place to find his forever family! - perfect mix of his two breeds - deeply loyal and attentive but smart and driven, perfect for doing advanced training together - likes people more than dogs but could do well with slow, thoughtful intros - truly a diamond in the rough here at the shelter - the bestest of boys!     SIMON’S VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/eUZbBVHEyeY     For more information, contact volunteer Lisa at lisaa@unitedhopeforanimals.org Photo Credit: Rafael Diaz     ---- Look up this or other animals at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center https://animalcare.lacounty.gov/view-our-animals/    Use their unique ID NUMBER.
