Description
MEE NATE!Big Nate is a friendly former stray. He'd like everyone to know that he's ready to leave the great outdoors behind and settle into a warm cozy forever home! Come to Dedham to meet Nate!Nate is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped and seen by our vet team. During his vet exam, Nate tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). This condition is not uncommon is former free-roaming cats. Cats with FIV can have a normal lifespan with an excellent quality of life. Your new primary care veterinarian may recommend more frequent regular examinations to more closely monitor Nate's health and can discuss various medical therapies or treatment options. Nate should ideally be kept indoors. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY however, we are unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. For more information on this or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston please visit us during our adoption center hours: Wednesdays-Sundays from 1:00PM â 6:00PM, Tuesdays by appointment only from 1:00PM â 6:00PM, closed Mondays & Holidays. For information about our adoption process click here
