Description

Syracuse was recently rescued from a colony of community cats. He was way too friendly and sweet to have been out there very long. He is playful--- especially fond of wand toys and tunnels! He likes to chat-- very vocal in the mornings asking when breakfast will be ready. He is still adjusting to the indoor, pampered life style. Pampering includes a full food bowl. He will tell you is very specific terms that he wants more!  Syracuse has food insecurities and benefits from kibble being available at all times. Then he proceeds to throw some of it out of the bowl in his enthusiasm. Wet food and treats are always welcome. Playtime includes running after feathered toys. He quickly goes into hunt mode when given the signals. Warning, Syracuse can get over stimulated when playing and may need personal quiet time before lounging next to his humans. Syracuse loves human company. He wants play, pets and companionship. He's not keen on sharing his humans with other cats. Syracuse is best as a single cat in a multi-person household. All his cat energy needs an output. The ideal household/day would include multiple cat lovers, at least one early riser, breakfast, extensive play time, long quiet afternoon naps, dinner, and more play! Syracuse is a great cat and deserves a loving home. Please consider meeting him.
