His previous routine mostly involved enthusiastically existing in a home and yard, so now he’s ready to branch out into exciting new subjects like Walks, Adventures, and Advanced Sniffing Techniques.He’s energetic, incredibly sweet, and always ready for fun, with a playful, curious personality that’s just waiting for the chance to shine. He’s lived with a small dog before and did well—more “big, bouncy buddy” than troublemaker. He’s crate trained, comes when called, and can be safely contained in a 6-foot wooden fenced yard, so no surprise escape artist tendencies.He will need some leash walking lessons, as this whole “going places with humans” thing is still new to him. Think of it less as a problem and more as an opportunity to train/bond—and possibly get a good arm workout in the process.Right now, he’s also beginning a very important personal journey: his weight loss era. Due to a lack of exercise in his previous home, he’s a little on the fluffy side, but he’s more than ready to swap extra snacks for hikes, playtime, and discovering that the world exists beyond the backyard fence.He didn’t get the time, attention, or outings he needed before, which just means there’s a lot of untapped potential packed into this happy, wiggly dog. With the right home, he’s going to blossom into an amazing companion.He’s looking for an active household that can give him regular exercise, mental stimulation, and a bit of guidance as he learns how to be the well-rounded dog he was always meant to be.
