China is a 12-year-young gentleman with a big personality who’s used to being the king of his home. He’s still active, curious, and loves to engage, especially for Greenies or a fresh treat from Sushi Gallery. Smart and full of charm, he even knows tricks like “lay down” and “spin.” China enjoys affection on his own terms and will happily accept pets when he’s in the mood. He’ll do best as the only pet in a calm, cat-savvy home where his boundaries are respected, as he can get reactive when stressed. At his core, China is a deeply loving companion who bonds closely with his person. He was surrendered due to economic hardship and an unstable home environment, and he’s ready for a fresh start with someone who will give him the steadiness and care he deserves. This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.
