Rufus' owner passed away.  The only life he had known was his owner and their peaceful home.  He's has been through some trauma and needs a little bit to come around but once he knows you, he sticks to you like glue.  He bonds best to one person and needs an adult home with no chaotic kids.  A canine companion for him, would be great! Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. Please expect an adoption fee of $300; some of our urgent or long-term dogs have discounted fees.
