Skeeter (NOT YET AVAILABLE)

Description

NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 10/16/2026:  Skeeter - male - approx DOB 9/22/2026 - 1.10 pounds - Maltese Reason for intake: Skeeter is another pulled from animal control from the recent hoard situation. The mother dog was also at animal control but had little milk and wasn't cleaning the puppy and needed to get out. He must have been the lone survivor of her litter. The mother can't leave yet until they finalize the legal issues. He wouldn't really eat with us either so we sent him to Valor Emergency Clinic to find out what's going on. Stay tuned. NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS:  Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed.  Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining.   In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason.  We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption.  In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered.  Please note…  we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption.  Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.  We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link:  https://www.facebook.com/share/1B46skRWF5/ OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
