PURRCY*

Description

Meet Purrcy, the adolescent black feline. Purrcy arrived to the Shelter as a stray so we don’t know much about his life before now. He was a little nervous at first but has slowly started to acclimate into a confident kitty with a cute chirp. This affectionate athlete would love a play buddy in his next home. To keep Purrcy safe, an indoor only home is required moving forward. Purrcy may do well in a home with other animals with a slow, thoughtful introduction. Purrcy’s adoption fee is reduced by $20 thanks to the Bogey Fund – a fund that draws adopter’s eyes towards the often overlooked black cats in Shelters. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
