Description
Meet Buckeye, an adorable boy whose story began with a lucky rescue and a whole lot of love! Buckeye came to OHRR as one of five babies born to a rabbit who was rescued from the middle of a rural road. In May, a Good Samaritan nearly accidentally hit Buckeye’s mama with their car when they spotted her in the road. Thankfully, they stopped to help her. Although she had clearly been someone's pet who was abandoned outside, she was still so trusting that she came right up to her rescuer and fell asleep in their arms on the way home! Just a week later, she gave birth to five little ones—two boys and three girls. Buckeye was among those babies. Thanks to that Good Samaritan, Buckeye and his siblings had a chance to grow up safely instead of facing the dangers of life outdoors. It's a pretty special beginning for a little bunny, and we're grateful their mom was found by someone who cared enough to stop and help. Now Buckeye is ready to begin a new chapter of his own! He's looking for a loving home where he can enjoy all the good things every bunny deserves: safety, comfort, room to explore, and a family who will cherish him for life. We hope this little Buckeye finds a forever home that's a real winner!
