Meow meet Cooper! Some cats are happiest doing their own thing, but sweet Cooper believes the best place to be is wherever his people are. This handsome senior orange and white gentleman came to the rescue when his family’s allergies meant they could no longer keep him. Through no fault of his own, he found himself starting over when all he really wanted was to be loved. Cooper is an absolute sweetheart! He is wonderfully friendly, adores attention, and loves being petted. And if you have an empty lap, consider it an open invitation! He is a true lap cat who would happily keep you company and soak up all the affection you have to offer. At some point prior to coming to the rescue Cooper was front declawed. He would make a wonderful companion for a senior or anyone looking for a devoted, affectionate friend. He does need to be the only cat in the home, where he can enjoy all the attention and have his people to himself. Copper has so much love left to give, and somewhere out there is a person who may not even realize how much they need a cat like him. A warm friendly presence waiting to greet them, a soft purr resting in their lap, and a faithful companion to make the quiet moments feel less lonely. Cooper has already lost the home he knew. Now more than anything, we hope he finds someone who will open their heart to him and let this sweet senior boy spend his golden years knowing just how deeply he is loved!
