Name:  Wells   Best Guess for Breed:  Poodle mix Best Guess for Age:   2 years as of April 2026        SEX:  Male   Approximate Weight:   38.6 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Special adoption considerations: Wells is shy and must go to a home with a welcoming resident dog who will show him the ropes.    Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Wells is Looking For: Wells wants nothing more than to trot through the world with all the confidence of a well-loved dog. To get there, he needs extra loving and patient adopters who show him the world and give him new experiences at his pace, since he is shy. A welcoming resident dog will help show him how to to dog too. Quality kibble, a cushy dog bed - yes, on his wish list too. And - daily brushing and regular professional grooming too, please. He has a high maintenance coat and mats hurt!   He has so much love and loyalty to offer in exchange! What do you say?
