Meet Poppy! Poppy is 1–2 years young, a proud mama of SEVEN beautiful babies, and now it's finally HER turn to be someone's baby. On July 30, Poppy welcomed seven little bundles of joy into the world. She's spent the last few months being a wonderful mama, and now that her babies are growing up and ready for forever homes, Poppy is ready for a new chapter of her own. This sweet girl has a BIG personality and an even bigger heart! She's talkative, affectionate, and has a purr motor that's always ready to go. She loves being near her people, soaking up pets and scritches, and let's just say she's not a picky eater - If food is involved, Poppy is interested. Poppy is the kind of girl who will happily keep you company, tell you all about her day, and remind you when it's time for a little attention. She's full of personality, loves her people, and isn't shy about asking for affection. She's spent the last few months taking care of her babies. Now it's time for someone to take care of HER! Poppy is ready to trade motherhood for a lifetime of love, snuggles, and being spoiled in a forever home of her very own. Poppy’s adoption fee is $145.00 Please complete a non-obligatory application at www.pawsandprayers.org Paws and Prayers cats are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, FIV/FeLV tested (neg), dewormed, current on flea/tick prevention, and microchipped at the time of adoption. They are litter box trained unless otherwise noted. Please be aware we do not walk around standing & holding our shelter cats - this is unnatural to them, and we like to keep them as comfortable as possible.  Please read the entire bio before emailing the foster with questions. Meet and greets are not arranged unless an adoption application is filled out and approved and are by appointment only.  Inquiries submitted through Petfinder or other third-party websites do not submit as applications in our database.
